Free walking tour. Pay just what you want at the end of your Montmartre tour
This Montmartre walking tour takes you to the nooks and crannies of the most bohemian, artistic district of Paris, the center of good-living in Paris and once the home and the artistic muse to Renoir, Picasso, Edith Piaf and others.
We start at Moulin Rouge, and slowly climb our way through back alleys and secluded gardens all the way to Sacre Coeur cathedral.
We explore the eccentric lifestyles of current and former residents, discover why the locals are so proud of their peculiar vineyard, and enjoy the romance of Montmartre.
We end with the best views of the Montmartre Sacre Coeur, with Paris at our feet.
- Moulin Rouge, Chat noir and the cabaret of the Assassins
- Sacre coeur church and artists’ square – icon of Bohemian Paris
- The extravagant home of eccentric pop singer Dalida – and what it means to French pop culture
- Windwmill, vineyards Paris’ most celebrated 180° view
- The haunts of Renoir, Picasso and Amélie – and how they matter to the rest of the world
- The best view of Sacre Coeur – and why no one ever goes there
