Marcus Rashford saved Aston Villa Women’s star Alisha Lehmann after inviting her to his VIP area on a night out.

Lehmann, 24, was at Chinawhite Manchester earlier this month when she was reportedly surrounded by fans as she entered the nightclub. However, Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford acted quickly and requested that she be escorted to his VIP room with him and his friends instead.

A source told The Media: “It was the first time they’d met but he knew who Alisha was. They exchanged a few words and she thanked him then they carried on partying with their separate sets of friends. She thought he was a gent.”

Lehmann, who has 13 million Instagram followers, was recently linked to Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz. They did, however, divorce earlier this year.

When Petros Tsitsipas commented on one of Lehmann’s social media postings in February, rumors about a possible romance began to swirl. An Instagram post showed a series of photos of Lehmann holding a tennis racquet to try “something different” in her training schedule.

Tsitispas said immediately, “Let’s play mixed?” The Greek rising star was two years Lehmann’s junior, but that didn’t stop him from pursuing him. Lehmann took a few days to respond, saying, “Let’s go,” with a crying-with-laughter emoji.

Stefanos Tsitispas, Petros’s brother, sent Lehmann a surprise gift two weeks later after the couple agreed to play a mixed doubles match. Stefanos, who lost in the Australian Open final to Novak Djokovic in January, sent Lehmann a signed Wilson racquet in the mail.
