Jenna Ortega’s 5 Upcoming Films You Must See!

Over the year in  Jenna Ortega has grown to become one of the hottest young actors. Following her breakthrough in the Netflix mega-hit Wednesday, Jenna Ortega is scheduled to appear in several upcoming television programs and motion pictures. There has been immense growth for the actor from when she began her career as a child actor to now. Jenna Ortega’s breakthrough in the industry was her role in the film, Jane the Virgin. Jenna Ortega has shown some interest in horror films.

1.The Finestkind

In the thriller Finestkind, which is now in post-production, Ortega is also slated to play the lead role. The film will be set in Boston and follow two brothers who rejoin as adults for a summertime reunion only to become embroiled in a risky criminal investigation. The Bonds, loyalty, and the brothers’ humanity are ultimately put to the test when a young woman is caught in the crossfire. Jenna Ortega takes up the lead role as the young woman.

In the film, Jenna works alongside, Ben Foster, Tommy Lee Jones, Ismael Cordova, Time Daly, Clayne Crawford and Fernanda Andrade. In this film, Jenna would have move away from her comfort zone to work in the thriller. Form her previous movies and shows, it is evident that she is drawn to horror films. It will be interesting to see how she embraces the character in the different genres.

2.Miller’s Girl

Ortega is currently shooting Miller’s Girl, a comedy/drama about a talented student, a departure from the thriller/horror genre. Jenna Ortega is known for going all out to fit perfectly in a role. In the Netflix show, Wednesday, she revealed that she had to learn German, playing the cello, and had to choreograph the icon dance she performed. It would be intriguing to see Ortega play the role of a gifted pupil in this film.

Currently, not much has been revealed on the upcoming project, but the synopsis says it revolves around a creative writing assignment given to a gifted student that produces complex outcomes. Though not much has been revealed, Ortega is slated to star in the movie.

3.Wednesday season 2

Although a second season of Wednesday has not yet been officially announced, it is highly plausible given how well-liked it is and how quickly it has become a global phenomenon. It is believed that the produces will soon announce the release of the next season after the first set viewing record. The first season was listed as one of the top watched Netflix show for weeks.

Although not confirmed, Ortega is believed to return with the same lead role. Jenna Ortega once revealed that she was happy to take up the role since it resonated with her since she is Latino. Many people are hoping that Wednesday season 2 would arrive as soon as possible because Tim Burton’s interpretation of the story has struck a chord with viewers. The show left viewers anticipating a second season and we hope we will not be kept waiting for quite long for it release.  

4.BeettleJuice 2

Beetlejuice 2 is an upcoming American film that is based on a story by Seth Grahame. This film will be a sequel of the first 1988 Beetlejuice. It is evident that the film has kept its viewers anticipating for fall too long. It is believed that the 20-year-old actress, is set to appear in the sequel. Talks reveal that the star us to star as the daughter of Lydia Deetz, that is played by Winona Ryder in the original film.

 The original film stared the famous Alec Baldwin, Gee Davis, Catherine O’Hara and Jeffrey Jones. Though not much has been revealed on the sequel, it has been confirmed that Beetlejuice 2 will take place several years after the events of the original film. The highly anticipated sequel is set to be released on the 6^th of September 2024.

5.Winter Spring Summer or Fall

Jenna has taken up a role as an executive producer in the upcoming film, Winter Spring or Fall. This upcoming film follows the story of two teens who fall in love in the cause of a four days. Jenna also takes up the lead role in the same film. Although the movie has not yet been released, it evident that it will be a success.

The film is set to re-unite the Wednesday star and Percy Hynes. Brad Krevoy commented that Jenna was an enormous talented in both acting and producing. The release of this film will be a huge step forward for Jenna Ortega as an executive director.
