The 2023 NBA draft draws closer and teams are looking to have the most formidable formations for the 2023-2024 seasons. Anything is possible as teams will be looking to add some of the highest projected prospects.

One such prospect who has gotten every franchise’s attention is Victor Wembanyama. Wembanyama is well known for his strength, speed, remarkable talent, and agility.

He is 7 feet 4 inches tall. Despite being the tallest player on the field most of the time, he moves and handles the ball like a guard.
Wembanyama is slated to be the first overall pick come June 22 and he is projected to take the NBA by storm.

Paolo has shown to be a very impressive addition to the roster going on to finish as Rookie of the Year. On Tuesday, April 25, 2023, Paolo Banchero of the Orlando Magic was announced as the clear winner of the NBA Rookie of the Year award.

With 98 out of 100 first-place votes and 494 of a possible 500 points, Banchero dominated the poll. Orlando has proven to be a thriving space for budding talents and Banchero is a proof of that.

Finishing 13th in the NBA western conference, the Orlando Magic have a 9% chance of getting the first overall pick and they will be looking to get the prospected number one pick, Victor Wembanyama.

Paolo Banchero has been elated about the possibility of teaming up with Wembanyama and it is something he is looking up for. Banchero went on ESPN’s NBA Today and got excited about the possibility of Orlando Magic getting Wembanyama to their team. He proclaimed,

“If we were able to add that guy, I think it would take this team to another level. He is a player that not many have seen before in terms of his height and skill. How he is able to move at that size really does not make sense when you watch it. Whoever gets him will be lucky. If we get him, I think it will cause a lot of problems for this league.”
