Cycling Extravaganza: Prague Bike Fest Returns at Výstaviště This Weekend

Cycling enthusiasts in Prague can gear up for a cycling celebration at Výstaviště. The two-day event will occur on Saturday 27 – 28 April 2024, from 10 am to 7 pm on Saturday and 6 pm on Sunday. The family-friendly event will be packed with diverse cycling activities and entertainment for both adults and children.

This year’s event follows a successful première edition last year that welcomed more than four thousand visitors. Attendees can look forward to adrenaline shows, exhibitions of the latest cycling trends, competitions, and challenges. There will also be discussions, workshops, lectures, bike tests, and pump trucks to expect. Visitors should also expect to sample delicious food delights. 

Fun Activities to Expect

The children’s program this year will introduce a traffic playground to engage the kids more. There will also be a children’s test circuit and other fun activities for the young ones.

The Big Air show will be one of the main adrenaline-filled highlights for visitors. It will star the event’s 2024 main ambassador, the fighter Teodor Kováč. At the center of Brussels Road, Kováč will showcase his technical flip tricks at a height of up to 7 meters.

Beyond the outdoors, there will be pavilions displaying the latest equipment, with the option to try some of the featured pieces. Participants looking for a laid-back ordeal can attend lectures, interviews, and discussions centered around safety and electromobility.

Moreover, Saturday’s atmosphere will be crowned by a follow-up party in Křižík Pavilion B. This session will open doors to any person with a valid ticket to the Prague Bike Fest. The occasion will open with rhythms of “slow techno” and culminate with performances of freestyle BMX riding style, Flatland.
