Since Childhood, I have always enjoyed giant stories as retold by my parents and grandparents. They were scary of course but I loved how my grandmother portrayed the characters in the stories as clever and resilient people who always outwitted the huge giants, their size and strength notwithstanding. 

As a grown-up, I find myself drawn to the many movies featuring these towering mythical creatures of immense power. Many movies tell giant stories, which are common children’s fairy tales. They range from fantasy epics to sci-fi spectacles, so prepare to be surprised, thrilled, and maybe even shed a tear as we delve into the world of these towering figures.  

From beloved classics to modern blockbusters, be it the heartwarming tale of a young girl and a friendly giant in The BFG or the thrilling battles against colossal monsters in Godzilla, most giant movies heavily rely on CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery), but each offers a unique perspective on the world of giants.
