Beer making has a long and rich tradition in the Czech Republic, beginning in the early Medieval Era. The very first concept of beer-making in the Czech lands dates back to 993 AD, when Bohemian Prince Boleslaus II instructed the construction of beer factories in Prague and other towns. Monuments played an important role in brewing beer during the middle ages, and a lot of the country’s traditional beer styles originally came from monastery beer factories.

The Czech Republic now has a great number of beer factories, comprising everything from small family-run businesses to huge global manufacturers. Czech beer is recognized for its clean, crisp taste and greater ingredients, and it is widely successful both inside and outside of the nation. The Czech Republic remains one of the world’s biggest beer manufacturers, owing to its proud brewing legacy.
