Real Madrid vs Valencia match filled with Racism Chants

The game between Valencia and Real Madrid was stopped when suspected racial abuse was aimed at opposition player Vinicius Junior, and fans inside Valencia’s Mestalla stadium were warned about such behavior.

This season, Spanish fans have racially disparaged the forward, drawing harsh criticism from other players. Back in February, Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, expressed his outrage at a reporter’s line of questions by saying that “nothing in the world” could excuse such abuse.

After a brief break, the game was resumed, and Vinicius was dismissed in the final seconds of the second half as Madrid was defeated 1-0. Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, sharply criticized the lack of activity after the game.

“We have been complaining about this abuse all season and nothing!” Ancelotti told the media after his side’s defeat “It has reached the point where the manager must consider taking off his player because the game is not being stopped. There is something wrong with this league if this happens.”

Vinicius went ahead to issue a response on social media:

“I’m so sorry. The championship that once belonged to Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Cristiano [Ronaldo], and [Lionel] Messi today belongs to racists.

“A beautiful nation, which welcomed me and which I love, but which agreed to export the image of a racist country to the world.

“I’m sorry for the Spaniards who don’t agree, but today, in Brazil, Spain is known as a country of racists. And unfortunately, for everything that happens each week, I have no defense. I agree. But I am strong and I will go to the end against racists. Even if far from here.”

After the game, Ancelotti told Movistar TV that he believed what had happened to his player was “more important” than the outcome. Before the game began, Real Madrid dropped to third place behind Atletico Madrid and remained there as a result of Diego Lopez’s winning goal for Valencia.

According to Ancelotti, “I asked him but he wanted to continue,” according to The Athletic’s translation. I told him that I didn’t believe it was fair that he had to participate in this game; you are the victim, not the guilty party.

He kept on playing. In addition, they give him a red card, which is absurd given that there was no aggressiveness.

“We’ve got a problem, he’s got no problem,” Vinicius is the best player and the strongest in the world in my opinion. La Liga has a difficulty. For me, they need to halt the game because of this racism. There isn’t another option. Vini is depressed, angry, and depressed even more. It is not possible.

Rio Ferdinand, a former England defender, commented on the most recent incident. “Bro, you need protection. Who is @vinijr’s guard in Spain?” On Instagram, he posted.

“After being choked and subjected to racial abuse during the game, he is given a red card. How often do we need to witness this young man being treated like this s***?

“I perceive suffering, disdain, and a need for assistance…and the government does little to assist him. People must unite to push the institutions in charge of our game to do more. Nobody deserves this, yet you’re letting it happen. This requires a coordinated strategy to avoid being swept under the rug once more.
