French Prodigy On The Verge Of Turning San Antonio Into A Booming Metropolis

The greatest prospect in team sports ever, Victor Wembanyama’s hype is getting heated as the days go by.

With his future team on the radar to pick him come June 22, 2023, during the NBA draft, we will know where Wembanyama will play in the 2023-24 season.

Wembanyama is projected to be the first overall pick in the upcoming draft and with the NBA draft lottery presenting the San Antonio Spurs the chance to draft first overall, it’s safe to assume that the match has already been set.

The most likely destination for Victor Wembanyama is the Spurs and we can’t wait till we see how he fairs when he rocks the black and silver.

Wembanyama will be joining the Spurs in a red hot form after completing his season at the LNB Pro A in France playing for Metropolitans 92 in which they finished second overall.

Victor averaged 21.6 points per game with 10.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 3.1 blocks the entire season and he is set to continue with his form when he joins the NBA.

Coming to the San Antonio Spurs would be a revival for the team which has been struggling for quite some time now.

The Spurs were the go-to team that dominated the NBA in the late 90s, the 2010s and some part of the 2010s.

This was mainly because of their luck in drafting Tim Duncan and the French International Tony Parker who went on to win five championships for the Spurs under the tutelage of the legendary Gregg Popovich.

Victor is set to pump new life and the Wembanyama wave is also set to bring with it a lot not only on the court.

San Antonio in general is set to benefit from Victor arriving and the Texas-based town is set to be a booming metropolis for times to come.

So much confidence in the 7’4” French prodigy from Don and this translates to just how Victor will be very important in San Antonio.

Not only will he be expected to bring back the glory days to the AT&T Center, but he will also be important as a respectable figure in San Antonio.
