The Irish Film Festa is making a comeback in Rome from April 4th to April 7th at Casa del Cinema in Villa Borghese. This is a big celebration that brings together visitors and locals alike to dive into Irish movies and culture, see cool Irish films, and do fun activities.
This year, it’s the 15th edition of the Irish Film Fiesta and you can bet, it will be great. There will be new movies, opportunities to meet and interact with filmmakers, and even a contest for short films.
Guess what? It is free entry until all the seats are taken! And as if that is not enough, you will watch the movies in their original language with Italian subtitles.
The director of this event, Susanna Pellis, has picked some great movies for this year’s festival. The film fiesta will be focusing on two things: high-quality documentaries and movies based on literature.
There will be exciting new movies to watch, including “Lie of the Land” and “Anne Devlin.” Visitors will see films about important topics and ones based on stories written by renowned Irish authors.
Additionally, the festival will be honoring Irish actor Cillian Murphy with a special showing of one of his movies “Breakfast on Pluto.”
