The riverside market was first created in Billingsgate, a ward in the southeast portion of the City of London. 4. Broadway Market 

Market vendors have called Broadway Market their home since the 1890s, and the market offers a distinctive fusion of tastes and cultures. The market, one of only six still open to the public in Baltimore, used to be the city’s main food supplier for the expanding population.
