Lost World of Tambun is a theme park and hotel in Sunway City Ipoh, Tambun, Kinta District, Perak, Malaysia. It was opened on November 11, 2004, and Sultan Azlan Shah officiated. It occupies 40 acres of land, managed by the Sunway Group.

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 11.00 am to 6.00 pm
  • Saturday, Sunday, Public Holidays, School Holidays: 11.00 am to 6.00 pm

1. You Can Visit the Lost World of Tambun at Any Time of the Year

The Lost World surrounds natural hot springs. A natural hot spring is a spring of naturally hot water, typically heated by subterranean volcanic activity. There are 12 separate hot springs throughout the park each with water at a different temperature.

 The park utilized the natural hot springs it has surrounded and six geothermal hot springs pools and a crystal spa opened in Lost World Hot springs and Spa attraction.

Some of the records the park hold include the Lost World Adventure River, a 660 meters ride as the Longest Man-Made River in Malaysia not forgetting the Lost World of Tambun and Astro co-organized Malaysia’s Largest Gangnam Flash Mob with an attendance of 2303 participants, broke Malaysia’s book of records comparing the previous record was 1100 participants.

4. It has Several Attraction Sites

The park has different attractions sites, in 2004 the park was opened to the public with four attractions such as the water park, Dry Park, Hot Springs and the Tiger Valley. However, it keeps growing as time passes by.

 In 2006, the water park was extended with the Waterfall Beach Garden and in 2009, the wildlife park was expanded with a new attraction site for petting animals.

Sam Poh Tong Cave Temple is one of the highly known temples near the Lost World of Tambun and consists of beautiful Buddha statues. It has a beautiful garden that is decorated with stone lanterns and pagodas. Geological Museum, this museum displays one fifty rock specimens and two hundred gemstones.
