 I really like Wine Bar George at Disney Springs. It’s a popular spot for both locals and tourists. This restaurant is famous for its big selection of wine. They have over 200 wines from around the world! You can get them by the ounce, glass, or bottle. When I’m feeling hungry, I always go for the Big Board.

It comes with six types of fancy cheeses, five kinds of special meats, and tasty extras. Another favorite of mine is their family-style dishes. I love the skirt steak with baby zucchini, patty pan squash, onions, and potatoes.

Or, I’ll go for the grilled Greek sea bass with white beans, spinach, and onions. On weekends, Wine Bar George serves a yummy brunch. They have treats like brioche French toast and a fried chicken biscuit with pimento cheese. It’s all so tasty!

19. Hunger Street Tacos

 Hunger Street Tacos is close to downtown Orlando, and there’s another one in Winter Garden’s Plant Street Market. It’s a simple place that makes tasty food from family recipes.

I really like their suadero tacos with seared brisket, avocado salsa verde, onions, cilantro, and lime. They also make yummy squash blossom quesadillas with squash from Everoak Farm. You’ll know you’re at the right place when you see the building with a beautiful mural of a girl and flowers. It’s easy to spot!

20. Norman’s

 When NORMAN’S closed at the Ritz-Carlton, Grande Lakes a few years ago, I missed Chef Norman Van Aken’s cooking. He’s a famous chef who came up with “fusion cuisine” in 1989. Now, he’s back with his restaurant on Orlando’s “Restaurant Row” on Via Dellagio Way.

I’m so excited! His restaurant has all the classic steakhouse dishes, but also his famous New World dishes. I love his yuca stuffed crispy shrimp with sour orange mojo, pickled habanero tartar salsa, and nica slaw. Another favorite of mine is the fried green tomatoes with escabeche mayo, balsamic reduction, and red pepper jam.

And let’s not forget about the guava barbequed heritage poulet rouge with mac and cheese croquette and Coca-Cola collard greens. I’m thrilled Chef Norman Van Aken is back, and I can’t wait to enjoy his delicious dishes again! Welcome back, Chef!
