Rome’s Roseto Comunale was once located near the city’s iconic Colosseum before relocation. Today, the rose garden is a famous place where you can feast on the aroma and beauty of over a thousand different flower species in one place. The blooming garden will be open to the public from April 21 and remain open for three more weeks.
The garden is divided into two special sections, with each section having a unique set of flowers for different functions. The higher section of the garden contains a set of special and classic specimens of flowers, while the lower section has the roses that are used in the prestigious annual international competition called Premio Roma.
Public rose gardens are not a new thing, as they date back to the 1930s. According to Wanted in Rome, the garden contains one thousand and two hundred different flower species for people to enjoy the view.
The general public, visitors, and tourists are at liberty to be part of the people heading to the rose garden on April 21. There is no discrimination and entry fee will not be charged. This beautiful garden will allow people of all ages and backgrounds to have a view.
