The 21st edition of LAAF-Lisbon Art & Antiques Fair, is scheduled for 12th to 21st April 2024. This is a major art event, which is part of the international calendar of Art and Antique Fairs. This year, the fair will feature 33 exhibitors, including art galleries and antique dealers.
LAAF has been in existence since its inauguration in 1995 and is organized by the Portuguese Association of Antique Dealers (APA). Notably, it is the only event in the country in which presented works have to validated by an Expert Committee.
Art lovers can attend the fair at the Cordoaria Nacional, where it usually takes place. The Councillor for Culture of the Lisbon City Council, Dr. Diogo Moura will chair its inauguration.
This artistic experience will include guided tours, talks about art, book launches, and concerts. It will also feature the fourth edition of the “Conversas Sobre Arte” (Conversations about Art.) Attendees can expect topics of value to exhibitors, the city of Lisbon and wider public audience in general on art.
Besides featured antique dealers and contemporary art galleries, the Azulejo National Museum and Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation will also be part of the fair.
