Travel mag Condé Nast Traveller compiled a list of 71 of the world’s most beautiful streets. Some have cobblestone streets and colorful houses, while others feature bold architecture and a lovely line of blossom trees.
The lanes and alleys that comprise Colmar Old Town in France claim the title of the world’s most beautiful street. The architecture here consists of brightly painted timber houses, as well as small bridges and boats dotted along the canal – all very pretty.
However, it is not all chocolate box village vibes. The streets of Setenil de las Bodegas, a small town between Seville and Malaga, feature lovely, immaculately white houses that stand out because they are built into the region’s rocky cliff formations. The Tohid Tunnel in Tehran also makes an appearance, with its symmetrical architecture and mountain views making for a visually appealing street.
