Mirei Kiritani was born on December 16, 1989, in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. She is a model, news anchor and a Japanese actress. She has been active in the field since 2006 to date.

She is married to actor and fashion model Shohei Miura a member of the talent agency Burning Production. They married back in 2018 and their wedding reception took place in a hotel in Tokyo, Japan on December 23, 2018, and in July 2018 they registered their marriage. The couple is blessed with one kid.
