1. He was born into a sporting family

Lewandowski was born in Warsaw and grew up in Leszno, Warsaw’s western country. While it’s true he had an innate talent for playing football his environment also polished him into the great striker he is today.

Lewandowski set a Bundesliga record by coming on as a substitute with Bayern trailing 0-1 to Wolfsburg and scoring five goals in 8 minutes and 59 seconds. This record was the fastest by any player in Bundesliga history, to take a 5-1 lead.

Lewandowski assisted Leon Goretzka’s opener in a 2_1 victory over the 2019_20 UEFA Europa Leagues winners in Sevilla in the 2020 UEFA Super Cup in Budapest.
