Priscilla Marie Winans Love, popularly known as CeCe Winans, is a talented award-winning gospel music singer, who is one of the most successful and respected in the industry. With over 10 albums to her name, this singer has been honored severally and won numerous awards, becoming one of the most celebrated during her career that has spanned over three decades.

Cece was born on 8th October 1964 in Detroit, Michigan, in a large family that had 10 children. She was among the youngest members of the family, with only two siblings being younger. Her parents were Delores and David Winans, who were both singers.  

The family formed a musical group, The Winans, and Cece began singing in church at a young age with her family. The group was one of the most successful and influential in gospel music history. 

2. She Was In A Duo With Her Brother

CeCe has an older brother, Benjamin ‘BeBe’ Winans, who is a successful gospel music singer and songwriter. Together, the two formed a duo in the 1980s and were popularly known as BeBe & CeCe Winans. 

The duo released seven albums together and they remain highly respected in the gospel music industry. If Anything Ever Happened to You, Love of My Life, and Count It All Joy are some of their songs. They have won numerous awards for their duets over the years. 

3. Cece Has A Dozen Albums As A Solo Artist 

Following her early success in the Winans family music group and later as part of the BeBe & CeCe Winans duo, CeCe has had a highly successful career as a solo artist. She sang her first solo song when she was 8 years old but her solo album would come decades later.

5. Cece Was Friends With Whitney Houston
