The best shopping malls in Rome

Rome is a city full of wonders and beautiful things to see and admire. Wherever you’ll go, you will find ancient history merged with everyday-life things. And for this reason, usually people fall in love with the “cradle of Roman civilization“.  We can easily say that history lives in the present for Rome.  But Rome has also modern and practical places where you can spend time shopping if you prefer! And today we will talk about the best shopping malls in Rome. We will see all their shops and what you will find once there. There are a lot of shops to see but also nice restaurants and very original fast food vendors to choose from! So let’s get going!

Galleria Alberto Sordi

We will start with this famous place called “Galleria Alberto Sordi“. This mall is dedicated to the famous Alberto Sordi.

If you are wondering who he is then let me help you. He was a famous Italian comedian, actor and composer, singer, and also writer. A very talented one! I bet that every roman and Italian knows him! Try and ask randomly!

People say that is the shopping center located in the heart of Rome. If you would like to spend some time there then go to Via Colonna and you will find it!

The stores you will find there are a lot. Zara, Feltrinelli, The Bridge, BeTween, Coccinelle are some of them. And if you want to take a break from the shopping then stop at Espressamente. You can’t miss it, is located in the center of the shopping mall with tables and chairs where you can taste a good Italian cup of coffee.

The gallery is open every day but closes at 20.00 pm

A little trick

Before a journey into  a shopping center always check their timetables before living. Usually you can reach them by underground very easily so you won’t have problems!

Avoid visiting them on a rainy day or during weekends. Because if it’s a rainy day and italians don’t know what to do, they surely like to spend a lot of time inside a mall.

But if you feel feerce enough, once there take your time to stroll around and visit all the stores. You will probably find what you’re looking for!
