Something about Rome

Rome is actually divided into 59 areas defined during 1961 by the Extraordinary Commissioner No. 2453. But there are also 22 “rioni” or also called districts! They are a lot to describe here, but we will talk only about the 10 best ones.  If you are wondering where you should stay and what are the best neighbourhoods then keep reading to find out more.

1. Trastevere

Trastevere is the best area overall and the largest of Rome. Is the thirteenth district and is indicated with R. XIII.
