Football striker Lucie Martnková (born on September 19, 1986) represents the Czech Republic and presently competes with Sparta Prague in both the Champions League and the Czech Women’s First League. In the 2011–12 UEFA Women’s Champions League, Martnková scored both goals as Sparta defeated Apollon Limassol 2-1 in the round of 32, second leg.

She is a national team player for the Czech Republic. On June 8, 2003, she made her professional debut against Ukraine. Martnková made her 100th appearance for the Czech Republic on November 7, 2019, in a 4-0 victory against Azerbaijan on the road as part of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 qualifiers. Irena Martnková, her identical sister, is a female football player who competes for both club and nation. The Martnková sisters competed with KIF rebro DFF in the Swedish Damallsvenskan in 2013 and 2014.

She won the talent of the year award in the 2004 Czech Footballer of the Year (women) and the 2012, and 2014 Czech Footballer of the Year (women) competitions. She led the Czech Women’s First League in goals scored in the 2014–15, 2020–21, and 2021–22 seasons.

Kamila Dubcová, a Czech professional football player who competes for both the Czech Republic women’s national team and Italian Serie A club AC Milan, was born on January 17, 1999. She is Michaela Dubcová’s twin sister, a professional football player as well.

Throughout her career, Dubcová has earned a cap for the Czech Republic national team, playing for them in their campaign to qualify for the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2019.

Andrea Staková, a professional football player from the Czech Republic who now competes for both the Czech Republic women’s national team and Spanish Liga F club Atlético Madrid, was born on May 12, 2000. At the 2017 and 2018 Czech Footballer of the Year awards, Staková received the talent of the year award.

She was the leading scorer and selected as the best player in the 2018 Turbine Hallencup international indoor football competition. Staková led the Czech Women’s First League in goals scored in 2018–19 with 32. Staková won the title of female Czech footballer of the year in 2021 and 2022. She made the move to Atlético Madrid on June 28, 2022.

4. Petra Bertholdová

Petra Bertholdová, a defender for Sparta Prague in the Czech Women’s First League, was born on November 24, 1984, in the Czech Republic. She is a national team player for the Czech Republic. On March 24, 2002, she played against Norway in her first game for the national team. Bertholdová participated in her 100th game for the Czech Republic on September 17, 2021, drawing 1-1 with Netherlands on the road in the UEFA tournament to qualify for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

5. Barbora Votková

Barbora Votková (born 13 September 1996) is a professional goalkeeper from the Czech Republic who has played for both Paris Saint-Germain and the Czech Republic’s national team. She goes by the name Bára and is a YouTuber.

Votková played in the first five qualifying matches for the Czech Republic, winning just one of them. The team did not advance to the 2023 Women’s World Cup. In a vital qualifying match against Iceland, she scored an own goal, which was crucial since it allowed Iceland to get past the Czechs and into the playoff round.

Votková launched her YouTube account on April 12, 2015. Forbes magazine placed her sixth among Czech youtubers in terms of income in 2021. She has also acted in movies from the Czech Republic including Pepa (2018) and Cena za tst (2019). In addition, Votková has a fashion business called BARBES with her ex-girlfriend, the poker player Barbora Mlejnková.

6. Lucie Voňková

Former football striker Lucie Voková (born February 28, 1992) played for the Czech Republic’s national team. She played for two seasons in the Netherlands, six seasons in Germany, and six seasons in her own country. She led all scorers at the 2013 Weltklasse international indoor football competition. Her efforts on the soccer saw her win the award for best female footballer in 2016 and 2017 in the Czech Republic.

On May 31, 2009, Voková made her debut for the national team in a friendly game against Poland. She was the captain of the national team and had scored 22 goals in 72 games for her country at the time she retired in June 2021. Due to health concerns, she announced her retirement in June 2021 at the age of 29.

Franny Erná (born on July 22, 1997) is a striker for Slavia Prague and the Czech Republic national team. He was born in the United States. Slavia Prague of the Czech First Division announced Erná’s signing on February 19, 2019. On March 20, 2019, she made her professional debut in a 1-1 tie with Bayern Munich. On March 30, 2020, she scored her debut goal for the team, scoring four times in an 11-0 victory over Lokomotiva Brno Horn Herpice.

Erná started out with the Czech Republic’s under-19 squad in international competition. She participated in a number of games for the squad during the 2014 and 2015 UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship qualification rounds. On March 5, 2020, Erná made her senior squad debut in a 1-1 tie with Finland.

Czech football player Antonie “Toni” Stárová, who was born on October 12, 1998, competes for Sparta Prague as a midfielder. Additionally, she has represented the Czech Republic women’s national team.

Markéta Ringelová, a football player from the Czech Republic who competes for Hradec Králové in the Czech Women’s Second League, was born on July 25, 1989.
