For some delicious vegetarian pitas: Maoz vegetarian

The Maoz vegetarian restaurant is located at 8 Rue Xavier Privas near the Notre Dame Cathedral. You probably know Maoz from other cities, such as Orlando, Chicago, New York, Barcelona, Amsterdam, and some others! This place is not exactly a restaurant because you can’t actually sit. The place is small so people rather order to take away. I’ve decided to mention it on the list anyway because their falafels are just the best! You’ve got plenty of choices for toppings, and you can actually choose the ingredients for your meal. Your whole wheat pita will be just as you like, filled with all your favorite ingredients! This is the perfect place if you want to grab a quick but delicious lunch!

For some traditional French dishes: Le Petit Châtelet

Next on my list of the best restaurants near Notre Dame is Le Petit Châtelet. Located at 39 Rue de la Bûcherie, it is the perfect place if you want to have some traditional French dishes right by the Notre Dame cathedral. The place is very cosy! It is the best place if you want to sit for a while, talk about all the amazing stuff you’ve seen in Paris and relax so you can continue visiting the rest of city full of energy!

For some vegan/vegetarian dishes: Le Grenier de Notre-Dame

If you’re looking for a vegan/vegetarian restaurants near Notre Dame, Le Grenier de Notre-Dame is the one! Their menu is renowed twice a year. They are very creative, so you will definitely find a dish to your taste! Located at 18 Rue de la Bûcherie and open everyday from noon to 11 pm. Whether you feel like having lunch or dinner there, you will enjoy the atmosphere! The Notre Dame Cathedral is just across the bridge Pont au Double! After dinner, you can have a walk along the banks of the Seine river and enjoy Paris illuminated at night! Because I have to say that Paris is even prettier at night!

For a satisfying dinner: Comme Chai Toi

At 13 Quai de Montebello, you will find the Comme Chai Toi restaurant. During the week it is only open at night. On weekends, it is also open for lunch. The staff is friendly, they speak English, and will help you choose the best wine to go with your dish. The food is really great, and due to its proximity to the Notre Dame Cathedral you would think it is a “tourist trap” but it isn’t! If you want to eat well-executed dishes, this restaurant is a very good choice! However, on weekends, you should probably book a table in advance for dinner!

For a tasty meal: Au Bougnat

This restaurant is one of the best restaurants near Notre Dame because it was recommended by most of the locals I’ve talked to. When I ask some of my friends if they had any recommendations, the Au Bougnat restaurant was always on their list! You will find it at 26 Rue Chanoinesse, two streets away from the Notre Dame. Nonetheless, they do not have vegan/vegetarian dishes on their menu that I know of. You can still try and ask if they can improvise a special dish for you!

For the best selection of wines and cheeses: La Reserve de Quasimodo

Located in the heart of Paris, in the City Island, at 4 Rue de la Colombe, La Reserve de Quasimodo is said to be one of the oldest taverns in Paris! It is open everyday from 10.45 am to 11 pm, but closed on Sundays! This restaurant has a great selection of wines and cheeses, so if you want to taste the best of French traditional food, this might be the place!
