Christianity is a global conviction that Jesus Christ is the son of God, his teachings and that his crucifixion was for humanity to be forgiven of sins.  Statistic record that Christianity has a following of 2.4 billion population which has to be interpreted as one-third of the world population. Jesus Christ’s coming is known to have been prophesied in the Old Testament (Numbers 24; 17). The prophecy was that the Messiah would come and Israel shall grow strong.  Christianity began in the 1st century Hellenistic Judaism in Judea, a Roman province. With twelve disciples, they spread Christianity to the ends of the earth as he commanded them in Matthew 28:16-10. Places they went to include Egypt, Ethiopia, Europe, Anatolia, South Caucasus, Mesopotamia, Ancient Carthage, and the Levant. Apart from the Jews, the good news of Jesus Christ started being embraced by other people known as the gentiles. There are countries that confess that Christianity is a state religion like Ar Armenia, Georgia, Eritrea, and Ethiopia since the 14th century.
