Inara who is played by Morena, is a companion, a high society courtesan licensed by the Union of Allied Planets.

A companion in the series is portrayed as part of a social elite, often accompanied by the wealthy and powerful, and a considerable ritual and ceremony surrounding their services.

It was announced in April 2006 that Morena Baccarin would be playing the adult version of the recurring Villain Adria in the tenth season of Stargate SG_ 1. Adria is the daughter of Vala Mal Doran and Ori.

The younger version of Adria was previously played by another actress but in season 10 episode one “Of Counterstrike”, Morena played the adult version of Adria. Baccarin reprised this role in the movie: The Ark of Truth.

Released in 2018, Deadpool 2 sees Wade Wilson’s world-shattering when his girlfriend Venessa Carlysle is killed by a vengeful missed target of his.

The character Venessa was played by Morena Baccarin, who in an interview revealed that Vanessa’s death was meant to be permanent.

It was reversed when the test audience voiced their discontent over her being killed off to further a Male character’s storyline, and this forced director David Leitch to organize a last-minute reshoot.

She was praised for her role as Jessica Brody the wife of newly returned POE Nicholas Brody, on the drama series Homeland.
