Muhamad Liaquat Ali Khan was born in Karnal, Haryana in British India. He came from an aristocratic family known for their Philanthropy.

Ali Khan rose to prominence and was also an influential member of the Muslim league led under Mohammed Ali Jinnah.

Khan was known for advocating and determination to eradicate injustice and ill-treatment extended to the Indian Muslims by the British Government.

He rose as an influential and later was one of the principal founding fathers of Pakistan. In Pakistan, he is known as Quaid-E-Millat which means leader of the Nation, or Shaheed-E-Millat which means Martyr of the Nation.

Khan was a democratic Political Theorist who promoted parliamentarism in British India. He was first elected to the Provincial Legislature of the United Provinces and then to the Central Legislative assembly.

As the first Prime Minister of Pakistan, he held Cabinet Portfolio as the first foreign minister, defence minister, and Frontier region minister.

He joined the Muslim League and soon became closely associated with Jinnah. He became a Prime Minister of newly Independent Pakistan at the beginning of the Cold war.

On his return to England Liaquat Ali Khan decided to enter politics to liberate his homeland from foreign enslavement.

Khan started his parliamentary career in the U.P legislative assembly as an independent candidate and later he formed his party.

He used his influential power and good offices for the liquidation of communal tension and bitterness.

In his parliamentary career, Liaquat established his reputation as an eloquent, principled and honest spokesman who never compromised on his principles even in the face of odds.

Ali Khan is a long-serving Prime Minister, His legacy was built up as a man who was a martyr for democracy in the newly founded country.

Liaquat is regarded as Jinnah’s right-hand man, he played a vital role in the partition of India and the creation of Pakistan.

He strengthened the Provincial branches of the Muslim League in the provinces. Liaquat strengthened the cause of the Muslim league.

He contributed to the Pakistan movement, Liaquat Khan raised his voice against the Congress government’s cruelty to the Muslims in the UP legislative council.

Cabinet Mission, Liaquat helped Jinnah in dealings and dialogues with the cabinet delegation. He is credited with persuading Jinnah to return to India.

He was first invited to the India National Congress but he later opted to join the All Muslim League led by Muhammad Ali Jinnah an Indian Independent Activist.

3. Raána Liaquat, the first lady, is remarkable for leading women figures in the Pakistan movement

Born in Almora, India. She earned a degree in Economics from Lucknow University. She was the first lady and wife of Liaquat Ali Khan.

She was the tenth governor of Sindh, Raána led women figures in the Pakistan movement, and was a career economist and a prominent stateswoman from the start to the end of the cold war.

Raána led women politicians and nationwide respected female personalities. She served as the executive member of the Pakistan committee movement.

Served as an economist advisor to the Jinnah Pakistan movement. She launched programs for women’s development.

Raána continued to serve in public life even after her husband’s death and continued to contribute to the Pakistan Women’s Association (APWA).

4. Ashraf Ali Khan first son of the amazing prime minister only four years when his dad was assassinated

 Born in 1937, Khan was merely four years old a schoolboy when his father got assassinated. He remained active in politics under the banner of Air Chief Marshall.

Khan and his wife were blessed with a daughter and two sons. He suffered from cancer and died he was laid to rest in the Gizri Graveyard.

His family had a deep respect for the Indian Muslim thinker and philosopher Sayyid Ahmad Khan and his father had a desire for the young Liaquat Ali Khan to be educated in the British educational system.

Ali Khan was sent to the famous Aligarh Muslim University where he obtained degrees in law and political science.

Liaquat received his early education at home studying the Qur and the Hadith, he also took music lessons. He is fond of singing, dancing, and theatre.

Throughout his life, he was known to be an amiable and warm-hearted person. He was married to his cousin Jehangira Begum and had a son with her called Wilayah.

 After his death, the government of Pakistan released a commemorative stamp, and his face was printed on postage stamps across the country.

Liaquat is the long-serving Prime Minister in Pakistan 1,524 days in power. Popularly he is known as Quad-I-Millat and shaheed-I-Millat by his supporters.

In Pakistan Liaquat Ali Khan is regarded as Jinnah’s right-hand man and heir apparent. He filled the vacuum created by Jinnah’s death as decisive in tackling critical problems during Pakistan’s fledgling years.

8. Liaquat’s famous meaning of freedom is freedom from wants, desires, and ignorance

Liaquat Ali Khan states that common freedom means freedom from wants, desires, and ignorance. If a common man is free from all these things, he feels the taste of freedom.

9. Moazzam Ali Khan is the grandson Liaquat Ali Khan 

Moazzam left Pakistan to do PR consultancy in the Middle East. Music has always been important to him and his family.

Moazzam Ali should have joined politics, but he chose acting he rose to fame from his role in Seth Fareed of Sabaat and later featured in Ishq Laa.

10. Ali Khan was assassinated while addressing a gathering 

In October 1951 Pakistan Liaquat Ali Khan was assassinated while addressing a gathering of the Muslim City League.

Khan was shot twice in the chest; the police immediately shot the presumed murderer who was later identified as a professional assassin Said Akbar.

Khan was a close aide of the founder of Pakistan Quad-I-Azam Muhammed Ali Jinnah and it was during his rule.

Ali introduced the objective resolution of the constituent assembly which was aimed at checking the influence of religious groups.
