Being an asexual can be at times described as a lonely experience in a world when sex and sexuality are constantly in the news. Famous heterosexual people equally get so much pressure from the media and so do famous asexual.

Lack of sexual attraction to other people defines the sexual orientation known as asexuality. Asexuality is still a largely misunderstood and stigmatized orientation, despite increasing acceptance and recognition in society. She made history as Sophia Burset in the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black.  She became the first openly transgender person to be nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in an acting category because to her role in the show.
