 Marion Cotillard is a French actress, environmentalist, film producer, and singer. She is well known for her roles in independent films and blockbusters.

However, Cotillard has received various awards such as; a Golden Globe Award, a British Academy Film Award, an Academy Award, a European Film Award, a Lumieres Award, and two César Awards.

In the year 2010, she became a Knight of the order of Arts and Letters in France, and in the year 2016, she was promoted to Officer.

She was born on 30^th September the year 1975 in Paris and grew up in an artistically inclined household around Orleans. Jean Claude Cotillard her father is an actor, teacher, former mime, and theatre director.

Furthermore, her father was of Breton descent. Cotillard’s mother Monique Niseema Theillaud is an actress and drama teacher of Algerian Kabyle background. However, Cotillard has two younger twin brothers Quentin and Guillaume.
