Morning day 3

Do a bit of shopping. Why not !? Les grands magasins cater well to international travelers. You have galeries Lafayette and Printemps to the north (do not miss their rooftop views), and Bon marché to the south.

For more adventuresome shopping, on week-ends and Mondays, visit the 2,500 shops of the Paris Antiques Market (the largest in the world).

We have an insider’s guided tour of the Paris Flea Market at 10 :45am.

Mid-day day 3

Visit the Latin Quarter’s medieval streets and alleys, Sorbonne University, the Pantheon, and the Luxembourg garden.

Join our free Latin Quarter/Left Bank group tour, at 2.30pm, or our Saint-Germain/Elegant Paris at 5pm, rain or shine.

Or else, go to Napoleon’s tomb at les Invalides (every day), or to the Rodin Museum and sculpture garden (closed Mondays).

Afternoon day 3

Soak in the atmosphere. Ride free Vélib city-sponsored Vélib bike, or sit at a sunny café terrace and indulge in people-watching.

Evening day 3

Finish off in style. Spend the evening in the Moulin Rouge, or the Lido or the Paradis Latin cabaret.

Or else…

And what about the Eiffel tower and Versailles ?

Eiffel tower tickets are the hardest thing to find. When you’re looking, settle for a place lower than the summit if you have to, and do not recoil from the high price. Other rooftops with easier access are the towers of Notre Dame, and the Montparnasse tower.

When it comes to Versailles, it’s a bit far out, and it can require a lot of time. So save Versailles for Day 4+.
