About the show
On July 14, 1789, the storming of the Bastille started the French revolution. Soon the entire world would throw kings out and replace them with democracy and human rights instead. And the French celebrate July 14 as National Day. So today let us head to Paris and storm the Bastille once again. LIVE!
Join the people of Paris. Understand what the Bastille stood for in their eyes. Plan out the attack. And… find out how nothing panned out the way the people expected.
Today the actual Bastille jail is gone. People hated it too much that it got razed right after the Revolution. Still, we will take to the streets where the Bastille once stood. Find what evidence there is left of it. And we carry out the attack, we storm and we liberate the Bastille!
You will choose who you want to be – assaulting the Bastille. Defending it. Or perhaps being one of only 7 prisoners.
You will ask of our expert whatever you want to know.
You will be home, you will not die. But you will experience, from the inside, what the Storming of the Bastille is all about.
