About this tour

Enjoy a guided walking tour from Campo de’ Fiori to the Trastevere as you sample street food and wine. As you start your tour, you will have a taste of fine wines and Italian artisanal salamis. During your walking tour, your guide will tell you about the city centre’s history. Stop for a taste from a variety of Italian cheese in one of the local shops.

You will have another glass of carefully selected wine paired with baccalà fritto a Roman delicacy of fried salted cod. You will also sample supplì (rice balls) and pizza ‘by the slice’.

You will continue with your stroll to one of the local restaurants in the Trastevere district. This area is said to have the best restaurants in Rome, and it’s from here that you shall have a meal. You will enjoy two different Italian wines to accompany your 2 first course meals and superb Roman antipasto.

We had Catia to show us around the Piazza Navona and Trastevere area with so many delicious treats and great wine. She is an amazing guide with great knowledge of the area. This is a top experience for your first days of travel to get a taste of Rome and a small tour of the surroundings.
