About this tour

Your tour of Rome will start at La Nicchia Cafè, a water buffalo specialty shop. The aperitivo will be one of about 20 food tastings that you will sample during this night tour of Rome. As you walk through the foodie neighborhoods, you sample cured meats and Italian cheese.

You will also sample truffle cheese, artichokes, tomatoes, and fresh mozzarella di bufala. This will be paired with a glass of white wine. Your next stop is Pizzarium which is referred to as Rome’s number 1 pizzeria. Here you will taste a variety of Gabriele Bonci’s pizzas.

The well-known Paciotti gourmet food shop is next on your tour. Here, you will meet Stefano Paciotti and sample a number of treats including salamis, prosciuttos, and Italian cheeses. These will also be accompanied by wine. Additionally, you will also find 25-year-aged balsamic vinegar and unique truffles.

I’ve been on 3 food tours so far since staying in Rome, this is the second one with the same company. This was by far the best one. The group was really fun, the host Nadia was excellent, really enthusiastic and encouraged the group to talk, learn Italian and most of all to relax and enjoy the amazing food and wine. If anyone reads this they should definitely book the evening food tours with this company.
