On this private tour, you visit food artesans. You eat and sample at each stop. And for the finale, you will sit down and eat more.
Your guide meets you at an agreed meeting point, at the time of your choice. We go from store to store and sample, and in the end we sit in a bistro to eat all that we bought. The tour then runs at your pace, with just you and your guide in it.
The Paris food scene keeps reinventing itself, so this is a careful selection of the best food artesans of the day. In the Parisian districts now celebrated for having the best foods.
Your guide is a foodie who shares with you the background of each food, how it is made, and the traditions lying underneath each. Some of the best foods, with the inside story behind them.
For this private tour, you get to choose. You give your choices ahead of time :
a – You choose a morning tour or an afternoon tour.
b – You choose the foods you want. We adapt to most allergies, but keep it in mind that a gourmet tour cannot accomodate every food allergy.
c – You choose your foodie district, too. Either Montmartre or Montorgueil.
1 – Montmartre is the scenic village of Sacré coeur and Moulin Rouge and Amélie Poulain. We finish at the foot of the hill and the Sacred Heart.
2 – Montorgueil is the name you cannot pronounce. It is also the food street that has been known as ‘the food basket of Paris’ for 500 years. Near Louvre and Notre Dame.

Where and when?
Our Foods of Paris : the grand tour is a private tour available Tuesday through Saturday, morning and afternoon, rain or shine. Not available Sundays and Mondays, when food stores are closed/out of reach. Closed on Dec. 24 & 25 and January 1.
If you book for the tour in Montmartre, we meet outside Moulin Rouge (closest metro is Blanche on line 1).
If you book for the tour in Montorgueil, we meet at 3, rue du Nil (closest metro is Sentier on line 3).
This walking and eating tour lasts around 2.5 hours. We walk up to stores in part 1,then we sit down for the rest of the foods.
