What's in our tour?
This tour takes you through the old town – a maze that mixes old legends, must see landmarks, crazy stories and vibrant traditions.
The tour starts at Las Ramblas, Barcelona’s most famous boulevard, right in front of the Liceu Opera House – destroyed three times and still standing today.
We “watch the show” of visitors on the Ramblas, and soon we step into Barri Gòtic – the medieval maze populated with narrow alleys, concealed churches, shaded plazas and centuries-old legends.
Plaça Sant Jaume square, Barcelona’s dancing egg and our cathedral: this tour shows Barcelona’s hidden side. As you touch the Roman walls and temple, you experience our city’s 2,000 year history.
Stories abound – the bombing in Sant Felip Neri’s Square, and the 13 geese of our cathedral.
To conclude this tour filled with legends and stories, we walk all the way to the majestic steps of Plaça del Rei – where the king of Spain welcomed Christopher Colombus back from his world-transforming expedition.
- The icon of Barcelona – the Ramblas
- The fake Gothic cathedral – Santa Eulalia
- Sant Jaume square – can you hear Futboooooool?
- Carrer d’Avinyo – The Picasso Code
- The medieval quarter of 1,000 years ago, the Roman town of 2,000 years ago, and the Juderia – the Jewish ghetto
