Overview
Start your evening in style in Eixample by visiting a modern tapas bar for delicious bites in the heart of Barcelona and end the night in a flamenco bar in Placa Reial. You will enjoy a 3-hour evening stroll sampling some of the most authentic tapas, followed by a tour of local stores selling ham in Born. This is an intimate experience as the small group tour is made up of 10 people, enabling the guide to give each one of you the attention you need. You will meet your guide in central Barcelona near Palau de la Musica for a 3-hour tour in Eixample, where you will get to mingle with the locals. You will visit the locals’ favorite eating joints to eat and shop. There is a ham shop in Born that has classic Catalan delicacies such as amb tomàquet, Manchego cheese, and locally cured serrano ham. Your guide will then take you through the Barcelona cathedral that warrants a visit as you explore the gothic quarter. You get to stroll to the edge of Eixample and get to sample tapas and get to see one of Barcelona’s’ modern bars; then get to watch a fascinating flamenco dance featuring the best upcoming stars in the game. As you wind down your evening, your guide will take you for a stroll in Born sharing Barcelona’s history, rich culture, and cuisine. You will head to the neighborhood’s famous ham shops where you will get to sample some of the best cuts and sample the best cheese such as Manchego. Next will be the Barcelona Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia, the old roman walls and finish in a busy nighttime square near La Rambla. The night will end with a 45 min splendid flamenco performance inside one of the oldest flamenco bars in Barcelona.
