Jordin Brianna Sparks is an American singer, songwriter and actress. After winning the sixth season of American Idol in 2007, at the age of 17, she became the youngest winner in the show’s history. Her debut studio album, released that year, was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America and sold over two million copies worldwide. 1. Jordin’s childhood and early life

Jordin Sparks was born on December 22, 1989 in Phoenix, Arizona to Philip and Jodi Sparks. His father is a famous athlete who played for the New York Giants football team. She reportedly started singing at the age of 18 months, much to the surprise of her parents.

She attended Northwest Christian School and Sandra Day O’Connor High School. As a child, she appeared on talent shows like America’s Got Talent, Junior Idol, and Star Search, proving her singing skills. Jordin Sparks At the age of 12, Jordin Sparks participated in the “Arizona State Fair” and won an award for outstanding singing. It lifted her spirits and she hoped to one day make it to the American Idol stage.

In 2004-2006, while still a teenager, Jordin Sparks produced a variety of musical compositions with popular singers Alice Cooper and Michael W Smith.

2. Sparks embarkment to the musical journey

Prior to appearing on American Idol, Sparks entered talent competitions such as Coca-Cola Rising Star, Gospel Music Academy Overall Awards, America’s Most Talented Kids, Colgate Country Showdown, and 2006’s AZ Superstar Search Drug Free.

Jordin won American Idol 2007 when she was 9 years old. She was led by her maternal grandmother, Pam Widman. Prior to Idol, she frequently performed the national anthem at various local sporting events, including the Phoenix Suns, Arizona Cardinals, and Arizona Diamondbacks. Sparks also appeared alongside Alice Cooper in the 2004 Christmas show, where she performed contemporary Christian singer Michael W. Smith in 2006.

In 2006, Sparks was one of six Phoenix Torrid winners in the search for “the next plus-size model.” She flew to California to appear in commercials and promotional materials for Torrid. The December 2006 issue of her Seventeen magazine featured a full-page ad for her Torrid featuring Sparks.

 When she thinks about who she wanted to sing with, or at least date, when she grew up, she met Mariah Carey. She was and still is her biggest inspiration. She hugged Jordin and she didn’t even know what to do?

 She started working with Whitney Houston and sang with her. It was really good because the last song Whitney  sang was with Jordin and she became a big Chris Brown fan.Before Idol, she put Chris Brown  poster on the wall.Her mom walked into her  room and said, “I don’t know why you’re listening to this. It’s not nice.” She responded, “Mom, look! I’m going to sing with Chris Brown sometime.” And that’s it! Voila! It happened and she has   been very happy and considered herself lucky.

It really saddened her to have to say  when she was young she actually ran out of the theater since shes a kid at heart , she never understood the movie or maybe it could have been her mindset was a bit off and also since there were no many people watching or laughing along to it then made Jordin freak out. However she likes Despicable Me.

Jordin sparks  likes  the chorus to the song as she considers its very simple ,yet very heavy in meaning in that one can also be considered to put a lot of emotion behind it. This is the song someone will sing when they’re going through a breakup and automatically  want to say something or scream.

This book is sparks current read, shes just at the beginning like on chapter 4  and so far shes  really enjoying the book shes she has been amazed by how the author explains and describes  everything  since she is a lover of  science fiction and fantasy books.

7. Moths and the sea are Jordin Sparks greatest fears

 Jordin finds it weird that there are such insects in existence that are fuzzy, vague bugs and she sticks to the fact that they shouldn’t be in existence, as they are just scary.

Sparks is sea phobic the fact that she cannot see what is beneath her  For instance, has anyone ever seen what lies at the bottom of the sea?  She can look at it but she wouldn’t want to be in there.

8. Jordin Spark’s first concert to attend must have been the N Sync

The very first time Jordin to be in attendance at a concert when she was in fifth grade, where she was accompanied by her friends Melissa and Pink who Cisco opened the door for them.

She recalls the moment, which was soo embarrassing as she could remember shouting ‘N Sync from the balcony and catching some confetti falling. One of her friends gave her a small photo frame, that had the “N-Sync” photo, her ticket, and confetti that she still has to date.

9. Tady to the party, Can Never be her!

Late to the party, it can be Jordin since she hates to be late. It hits her nerves when other people are late, but also irritated when she’s on a plane reading a book or magazine and someone is reading over her shoulder. It’s something that happens frequently and she never understands why it happens which makes her cringe and uncomfortable altogether.

10. Fast food Pleasure, we could all guess till eternity!?

Taco Bell? Wouldn’t have guessed right, however to Sparks it is a fast food delight. It’s always been her go-to when she eats out. The Doritos Locos Tacos, they just heavenly, like just adding everything that makes Doritos and Taco Bell great?
