Chadwick Boseman ( 29 November 1978 – 28 August 2020 ) was an American actor. Lupita Amondi Nyong’o is an actor who is Kenyan and Mexican, born on 1 March 1983. She has received numerous honors, such as an Academy Award, and has been nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards and a Tony Award. For her performance in Black Panther, she received a nomination for a Saturn Award for Best Actress.

In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Wright reprised her part as Shuri and played the role of the new Black Panther after T’Challa’s passing. This was Wright’s first leading role. Shuri is a genius-level engineer who carved out her passion for science and technology. Letitia Michelle Wright (born 31 October 1993) is a Guyanese-British actress. Letitia received widespread acclaim in 2018 for her performance as Shuri in the Marvel Cinematic Universe picture Black Panther, for which she received both a SAG Award and an NAACP Image Award. In Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019), and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, she played the same part again. (2022). She was given the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2019.

4. Michael B. Jordan

He is a former U.S. Navy SEAL and black ops mercenary who wants to depose his relative T’Challa and impose his vision for how Wakanda should be run. He is the main antagonist of the first film but plays a minor role in the second film. 

Michael Bakari Jordan, an American actor, writer, and director, was born on February 9, 1987. He is best known for his performances in the Ryan Coogler-written and -directed dramas Fruitvale Station (2013), Creed (2015), and Black Panther (2018) as Erik Killmonger, a boxer, and Oscar Grant, a gunshot victim. In Creed II (2018) and Creed III (2023), which also served as his directorial debut, Jordan returned to the Creed character.

He was named 15th among the top 25 actors of the twenty-first century by the New York Times in the year 2020. This a blatant example of why he is a legend.

5. Angela Basset

T’Challa’s and Shuri’s mother Ramonda, the Queen Mother of Wakanda, is portrayed by Angela. In the first Black Panther movie, Ramonda acts as T’Challa’s advisor when he might otherwise have gone to his father. After the passing of her son T’Challa in the sequel, she assumes a more significant position and takes the throne of Wakanda. She then courageously gives up her life to save Ironheart, Riri Williams.

American actor Angela Evelyn Bassett was born on August 16, 1958. She has been nominated for two Academy Awards, seven Primetime Emmy Awards, and two Daytime Emmy Awards in addition to being well-known for her work in film and television since the late 1980s. Other awards and recognition include a Screen Actors Guild Award, sixteen NAACP Image Awards, and two Golden Globe Awards. She was selected as one of Time’s 2023 Women of the Year recipients.

Her great performance as Ramonda in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever made her a nominee as the Best Supporting Actress in the 2023 Oscar Awards.

6. Winston Duke

Winston Duke plays M’Baku, the head of Wakanda’s mountain tribe, the Jabari, who object to T’Challa becoming the new monarch and is a formidable, merciless warrior. Later, he joins forces with T’Challa, his adversary, to protect Wakanda from Killmonger. In the sequel, when Wakanda is attacked by the Talokanil, he is still an ally and continues to assist Shuri. 

Actor Winston Duke was born in Tobago on November 15, 1986. He played the character of M’Baku in four features in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, beginning with Black Panther (2018), which marked his feature film debut. He also starred in Jordan Peele’s Us (2019).

7. Danai Gurira

Danai plays Okoye the leader of Wakanda’s all-female Special Forces and T’Challa’s protector, Dora Milaje, is an “extremely proud” traditionalist from the Border Tribe. She is demoted in the follow-up after the Talokanil kidnap princess Shuri. She continues to support Shuri in his battle against the Talokanil even after being fired from her job out of loyalty to Wakanda.

Danai Jekesai Gurira, a Zimbabwean-American actor and playwright, was born on February 14, 1978. She is best recognized for her leading roles as Michonne on the AMC horror drama series The Walking Dead (2012–2020, 2022) and as Okoye in the superhero films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, starting with Black Panther (2018) and most recently in its sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. (2022). Gurira said that the fighting skills she learned playing Michonne complemented the skills of Okoye.

Along with her acting skills, she is a passionate advocate for women’s rights, the arts in her native country, and the battle against HIV/AIDS making her an icon one can look up to.

8. Forest Whitaker

He plays Zuri, the guardian of the herb in the form of a heart and a senior statesman of Wakanda. Coogler, the director of the film, compared Zuri to Obi-Wan Kenobi from the Star Wars series and described him as a religious and spiritual character, alluding to the spirituality of Wakanda from the comics. For T’Challa, Zuri also has a significant tie back to T’Chaka.

Forest Steven Whitaker is an American actor, director, and writer who was born on July 15, 1961. He has received numerous honors, including two Screen Actors Guild Awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, and a British Academy Film Award.

Actor Forest Whitaker is renowned for his memorable performances in blockbuster movies like Platoon, Good Morning Vietnam, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and many others.

9. Tenoch Huerta

He plays the main antagonist in the sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. He is Namor, the king of Talokan. He is known as the feathered serpent god K’uk’ulkan by an ancient underwater society. After the first movie, T’Challa publicly reveals the truth about Wakanda, putting Talokan in danger and prompting Namor and his people to “take action to protect themselves.” As a result, Namor chooses to become involved in the surface world. 

Mexican performer José Tenoch Huerta Mejia was born on January 29, 1981. He has acted as the lead in several pictures in Latin America and Spain, including Narcos: Mexico. Tenoch Huerta is his acting name. He is mentioned in Mónica Maristain’s book 30 Mexican Actors.

He plays Everett K. Ross, a Central Intelligence Agency agent with whom T’Challa had an uneasy peace, according to Freeman. The character in the movie embarks on an “enlightening journey to Wakanda,” he continued. Ross was intended to be more than just comic relief, as he is in the comics, and Freeman and the filmmakers wanted to show him as a competent operative. When the agency learns that he is giving the Wakanda Kingdom access to classified material, his connections to Wakanda land him in hot water.

English performer Martin John Christopher Freeman was born on September 8, 1971. He has received numerous honors, including an Emmy, a BAFTA, a Screen Actors Guild, and a nomination for a Golden Globe, a true icon.

11. Andy Serkis

Klaue replaces his left arm, which was amputated in Avengers: Age of Ultron, with a sound disruptor arm cannon made from a piece of cutting-edge Wakandan mining machinery(2015). Boseman described Klaue as one of the few outsiders to infiltrate Wakanda, a threat to the nation, and a person with access to vibranium. He likened the persona to Osama bin Laden. In addition to wanting vibranium, Klaue also has a personal grudge against T’Challa and wants to reveal Wakanda’s hypocrisy, according to Serkis.

Andrew Clement Serkis, an English performer, director, and producer, was born on April 20, 1964. His motion capture acting, animation, and vocal work for computer-generated characters, such as Gollum in the Lord of the Rings film trilogy (2001–2003) and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, have made him the most well-known performance capture actor (2012).

12. Dominique Thorne

Dominique portrays Riri Williams, a brilliant inventor from Chicago who attends MIT and develops an outfit of armor that competes with Tony Stark’s Iron Man armor. The conflict between the Talokanil and the surface world is started by her invention that detects vibranium.

Actress Dominique Thorne is from the US. She made appearances in the movies Judas and the Black Messiah and If Beale Street Could Talk (2018) (2021). The parents of Dominique Thorne are Trinidadian emigrants Nerissa Guy and Navie Guy. Dominique Thorne was born in New York on November 8, 1997.

For the first Black Panther movie, Dominique first tried out for the Shuri part. Sarah Finn, the casting director, promised to get in touch with her soon for other parts even though she didn’t get the part at the time. She eventually received a call for the part of Riri without having to go through an audition. He is well-known for his performances as Colonel Ulenga in the Netflix film Murder Mystery and T’Chaka in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Black Panther (2018). He also played Rafiki in the 2019 adaptation of The Lion King. (2019).

Kani was given a SAFTA Lifetime achievement medal on February 20, 2010. In addition, he has won an M-Net Plum award, a Clio award in New York, and the Avanti Hall of Fame Award from the South African film, television, and advertising sectors. Other honors include the 2005 Olive Schreiner Prize and the 2000 Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation Award. In 2004, he was ranked 51 among the Top 100 Great South Africans.

14. Sterlin K. Brown

Sterlin portrays N’Jobu, the father of Killmonger and brother of T’Chaka. He and his brother disagree on whether vibranium should be made available to the rest of the globe. His sibling kills him as a result of this. Killmonger is enraged by this event and seeks retribution. Despite having a minor part, his mere presence is iconic.
