My first suggestion for your teens to have fun while in Paris is the Teens Party that happens one saturday per month.

The Teens Party is a famous nightclub, which is restricted to only people aged from 13 to 17 years old, located at 9 rue Daunou in the second district. It’s a party with only teens and no alcohol. The party starts at 5.30 pm and ends at 11 pm. If you book the ticket in advance, you only pay 25 euros instead of 40 euros.

Once they get in, everything is free inside! From makeup stands to drinks and candies, everything is free and with no limits! Djs and performers are there to entertain your teens during the whole evening. So if you want your teens to have fun while in Paris, take them to one of these Teens Party! They can dance, sing and party in a safe nightclub without any drugs! The next one happens on September, 21st! So, hurry to buy their tickets!

Have a swim at Aquaboulevard

Your teens will love to go to Aquaboulevard. You and your family will get to try the funniest slides. And whenever the alarm rings, the gigantic swimming pool starts making waves!

This waterpark is really the best if you’re looking for something different to do while in Paris. It is open everyday the whole year!

From Mondays to Thursdays, it opens at 9 am and closes at 11 pm. On Fridays, it opens at 9 am and closes at midnight. On Saturdays, it opens at 8 am and closes at midnight and on Sundays, it opens at 8 am but closes at 11 pm. If you go there during the week, it will cost 29 euros per person and if you go during the weekend, it will cost 33 euros.

During the winter months, you can still go, you just won’t be able to go on the outside slides. But if you’re coming during the warmer months, you definitely need to come with your family!

Let the teens meet their favorite personalities at Musée Grévin

Located on the Grands Boulevards, at 10 Boulevard Montmartre, the Musée Grévin is a wax museum containing characters from historical events to modern life, movie stars such as Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and George Clooney, and international figures such as Albert Einstein and Mahatma Gandhi. Your teens get to take pictures with their favorite actors and actresses, singers, athletes and many more!

Also, just before the beginning of your visit, you cross a room called Le Palais des Mirages. It was created by Eugène Hénard for the Exposition Universelle in 1900 (the same exhibition for which the Eiffel Tower was built). It was presented in Trocadéro. The Musée Grévin then bought the project and started using it in 1906. It is pretty amazing. Thanks to a gigantic and colorful optical illusion obtained by the use of mirrors and lights, the guest travels through different atmospheres, and it is gorgeous!

The tickets costs 24.50 euros per adult and the museum is open everyday but sundays, from 9 am to 5 pm.

Awaken the teens interest in art at Palais de Tokyo

The Palais de Tokyo is located in Trocadéro, very close to the Eiffel Tower and it is free for people aged under 18 years old!

This place hosts a modern art museum and a center of contemporary art. Even the less interested in art teens will love it! It is very different from all types of museums we are used to. Take your teens to the Palais de Tokyo to awaken their creativity and maintain them intrigued!

Have a unique cinema experience at La Géode

Seen from outside, the Géode is just an impressive futuristic monument. But it actually holds a great surprise!

It first opened its doors in 1985 and was totally restored in 1998. This 36-diameters silver globe is a modern cinema that contains the greatest Imax screen in the world! The stadium room has the capacity to receive up to 370 persons per session. The screen has an angle of 27 degrees. All these inclinations and curves combinations allow the viewer to feel as if they were part of the movie.

However, you need to know that the Géode closed its doors in November 2018 for restoration. It will open back in 2020, with many more surprises and an even more amazing cinema experience!

Have a walk at Père Lachaise cemetery

visitpariswithteens6

The Père Lachaise cemetery is the greatest cemetery of Paris and one of the most famous ones in the world. Located in the twentieth district of Paris, this cemetery exists since 1804 and is home to one million bodies and counts with about 3.5 millions of visitors each year. It is definitely one of the highlights of Paris, and can be a very interesting visit for you and your family.

This cemetery is truly beautiful, filled with trees, sculptures, personalized tombstones, that give to the place a unique and dark charm. Plus, there are many famous celebrities buried there, which attract many travelers who come to Paris, such as Jim Morrison, Oscar Wilde, Edith Piaf, Chopin, Balzac and many others! You can even buy a map of the cemetery at the entrance to make sure you don’t miss their tombs.

This haunted mansion opened its doors on the 6th of May in 2011. It is kind of recent, so they are constantly innovating and providing the guests with new entertainment. You are led through the different rooms of the mansion. In each room, you meet new characters that are as terrifying and as fascinating as the next! All the characters got their looks and histories inspired by the capital. You will be introduced to, for example, Quasimodo and the Phantom of the Opera. Plus, their acting skills are pretty impressive. You and your family will be plunged into a mysterious and scary universe. We know from time to time everyone enjoys a little fright…

Don’t forget the Manoir de Paris is a haunted mansion so get ready for some screams and cold sweat!

The entrance for adults costs 29 euros. The entrance for people aged between 10 and 15 costs 20 euros. Also, you need to know that on weekends, the prices increase.

Your and your teens will probably all agree on visiting this iconic monument, this emblematic iron structure of Paris, the Eiffel Tower!

The Eiffel Tower was inaugurated on March, 31st of 1889 for the 1889 World Fair. It was supposedly meant to be demolished twenty years after its construction. But Gustave Eiffel managed to keep it standing, giving it a new purpose. If you want to know more about this story, you can read this article and this one as well.

To get to the top, the entrance for people aged between 12 and 24 years old only costs 12.70 euros. I’m sure they will enjoy it. This visit will definitely provide a rush of adrenaline to be so up high and it will probably bring feelings of humility for being so tiny in such a huge structure in this gigantic world.

Have fun at Disneyland Paris

In Marne-la-Vallée, there are two theme parks: Disneyland Paris and the Walt Disney Studios Park. As soon as you land your feet in there, believe me, you will feel like a kid again. There’s no better place in the world than Disneyland Paris! The atmosphere is incredibly playful and joyful. Happiness is all over the place! There’s laughter and smiles on every face.

The theme parks are beautifully made, the attractions are all so great and fun! Wonder and thrills are guaranteed! My advice would be for you to pack a picnic because food and drinks inside the park are kind of expensive. Also, try to get Fastpass passes as soon as you get in the park. This will allow you to avoid queues for an hour.

If you want to know the best way to visit Disneyland Paris, I’ve written a whole article about it, check it here! You will get many useful tips to make sure you enjoy the most out of your visit to Disneyland Paris! And if you want to know about other great theme parks, read this one!

Learn more about Paris history at Paris Catacombs

What are the Paris Catacombs? I think it is an interesting place your teens will love to visit. Let me introduce you to a bit of the history of this peculiar place.

Over the years, the Cimetière des Innocents, located near the Saint Eustache Church in Paris first district, got crammed with dead bodies. There were so many, they couldn’t even bury all of them. Hygiene and health issues forced the moving of the corpses from this infectious cemetery. During the end of the eighteenth century, all the bones and remains were moved to old quarries, which are now the Paris Catacombs.

This place tells a lot about Paris history and it will certainly intrigue your family. While adults have to pay 29 euros, children aged between 4 and 17 years old only pay 5 euros.

My article about how to visit Paris with teens is now over! I hope you’ve liked it and that it has given you a few ideias. My advice is for you to get them involved, make time for them to visit the places they want to while in Paris as well. They will be very grateful, get excited about the trip and will appreciate it even more, because they will be part of the plans. If you need further information, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. Also, as you know, Paris is one of the most famous cities for the fashion, so take them on a shopping spree! They will love to shop in the city of Paris! Fashion in Paris is outstanding and unmatched! See you soon in Paris!
