17 Hands Coffee, which also incorporates Robin Simmons Bakery, occupies 1,350 square feet and is located in Kempsville Crossing shopping centre in Virginia Beach. The business was named for one of her horses, Tango, a Dutch Warmblood that stands 17 hands tall. The coffee shop, which features beans roasted on the Eastern Shore, carries a variety of coffee, espressos, lattes, cold brews and nitro brews. From the bakery, you will get freshly baked cakes, scones, cookies, quiches and seasonal specials. They sell different quiches, breakfast sandwiches, cakes, cheesecakes, coffees and more.  Get s’mores iced latte and Lorraine quiche, both are pretty good. The owner opened her business in April 2019 in a vacant and managed to create an old world/retro and cosy spot. “I wanted it to be a place where people could come and be as comfortable, or even more comfortable, than their own homes,” according to the owner.
