7. Spot animals at the Los Angeles Zoo

8. Take a short drive to the Aquarium of the Pacific

9. Unwind at the Descanso Gardens

44. Admire the structures at Watts Towers Art Center

Marvel at the interconnected sculptural towers designed and built by Sam Rodia, an Italian immigrant construction worker.
