McConaughey studied law at the University of Texas at Austin before switching to film. Following graduation, he produced a variety of student and short productions in Texas before meeting Oscar-nominated producer Richard Linklater and scoring a position in “Dazed and Confused.” McConaughey later won an Oscar for his performance in the 2013 movie “ “Dallas Buyers Club.”

The freshly anointed Texan established a Tesla subsidiary in South Texas to supply power to the general populace. Musk previously informed Joe Rogan that he thinks Austin will be America’s “largest thriving metropolis,” so it’s no surprise that the businessman decided Austin as the site of his new $1 billion production plant.

4.George Strait- American Singer

The “all my ex partners reside in Texas” singer has lived in Texas since his birth in Poteet, Texas. Strait has ever stated that he cannot possibly live anyplace other than in Texas! Strait, as one of country music’s most popular figures, has contributed to establishing Texas as a center for the style of music, with his state fair act previously securing a massive turnout. He managed to sell his $7.5 million San Antonio villa in 2021, but the legendary singer still owns several Texas assets, such as a working farm.

5.Lance Armstrong- American former professional road racing cyclist

Lance Armstrong, born in Richardson, Texas on September 18, 1971, rose to prominence as a highly prolific bike rider of his generation, celebrating the Tour de France win 7 times. Regrettably, he had his trophies forcibly removed after a drugs allegations. He also established the Lance Armstrong Foundation after being hospitalized with and recovering from cancer.

6.Ethan Hawke- American Actor

George H.W. Bush was brought up in Massachusetts however, after getting a degree from Yale, he relocated to West Texas and founded a productive oil company. He was elected to Texas’s 7th congressional district in 1966 and went on to have a prolific political future until he was appointed as the 41st President of the United States from 1989 to 1993. President George H.W. Bush died on November 30, 2018, at the age of 94, in Houston, Texas.

10.Renée Zellweger- American Actress

Zellweger, who was born in Katy, Texas, is a Lone Star superstar. Zellweger landed a role around Houston after taking an acting course at the University of Texas at Austin, and her records include “Reality Bites” and “Empire Records.” She later appeared as the legendary protagonist in “Bridget Jones’ Diary,” and she was honored with an Oscar for her acting skills in “Cold Mountain,” alongside Jude Law and Nicole Kidman, in 2004.

Mary Elizabeth Spacek was born on December 25, 1949, in Quitman, Texas, and initially supposed to become a musician, recording her 1st single at the age of 18 in 1968. She began acting for the first time in the early 1970s with the film Badlands. She has already featured in over 40 films and has received six Academy Award nominations and one win, in addition to seven Golden Globe nominations and three wins.

After departing The Bachelor/Bachelorette company, the Texas local has formally relocated to his native state.
