Jack Kramer

Jack Kramer was an American tennis player born in Las Vegas, Nevada he dominated the sport in the 1940s and 1950s. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest tennis players of all time, having won numerous Grand Slam titles during his career. He is also remembered for founding the professional men’s tennis tour known today as World Team Tennis (WTT). Kramer’s career began when he turned pro at age 17 after winning several junior tournaments around California.

His aggressive style of play earned him many fans but it also led to frequent injuries that eventually forced him into retirement. Despite this early end to his playing days, Jack Kramer remained an influential figure in tennis throughout his life; coaching some of the greatest players ever such as Billie Jean King. He also served on various committees within USTA and WTT organizations. Kramer’s contributions to tennis have left a lasting impact on the sport and his legacy continues to be celebrated by fans around the world.

Rutina Wesley

Rutina Wesley is an American actress best known for her roles as Tara Thornton on the HBO series True Blood and Nova Bordelon in the OWN drama Queen Sugar. The actress made a name for herself in the entertainment industry through her diverse roles in film, television and stage productions. Rutina began performing at a young age with local theatre companies before attending Juilliard School to study acting. After graduating from Juilliard she went on to appear in several Broadway productions before transitioning into film and television work. Her performance as Tara Thornton earned her critical acclaim and multiple award nominations throughout its run. In addition to acting, Rutina is also a passionate advocate for social justice issues such as LGBTQ rights and racial equality.

The former world number one was born and raised in Las Vegas. He won his first championship when he was 12 years old and is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in history. Agassi dominated sports. He has the US Open, Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and his eight Grand Slam singles titles in his trophy cabinet. This great player became known not only for his powerful groundstrokes, exceptional athleticism, and spirited personality but also for his keen sense of fashion, including his neon-coloured outfits and his signature long hair. Agassi, better known, left the game in 2006. The Andre His Agassi Education Foundation, which he founded, has raised over $60 million* for children in Southern Nevada.

Matthew Gray Gubler

The Emmy award-winning actor, director, producer and voice actor, Matthew Gray Gubler, also hails from Vegas. Gubler was raised in a creative family that fostered his artistic talents from a young age.  Gubler earned a degree in film directing at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. He has also appeared in numerous other television shows, including The Unexplained Files, New Girl and The Beauty Inside and you may recognize his voice from Alvin and the Chipmunks. Aside from his work in the entertainment industry, Gubler is also an accomplished artist and model.  The talented dude was also a model for Tommy Hilfiger and Marc Jacobs. Las Vegas-born actress and singer Meaghan Jette Martin is best known for her roles in theatre, film, and television. She is most well-known for playing Bianca Stratford in the ABC Family television series 10 Things I Hate About You. Meaghan prepared at LAMDA and her abilities have vanquished the two sides of the Atlantic. She has starred in Mean Girls 2 for Paramount Pictures, Safelight, Journey, Sironia, Dear Lemon Lima, Geography Club, Wives of the Landed Gentry and British political satire Bad News (London Independent Film Festival Premiere), all of which were nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role at LA Outfest. Meaghan played Tess Tyler in Camp Rock, which is still one of the Disney Channel Original Movies with the most viewers.

Ricky Davis

Tyree Ricardo Davis is an American former professional basketball player who played twelve seasons in the National Basketball Association. His signature play was characterized by hard-headedness, unrepentant gunning and preening. His bumpy NBA career was ended by an injured left knee and withering on-field exploits. Ricky Davis played in the NBA professionally for 12 seasons.  Davis was known for his athleticism and scoring ability, averaging over 13 points per game during his career. He also had a reputation for being a flashy player, known for his high-flying dunks and showmanship on the court. While Davis had a successful career in the NBA, he also had some controversial moments, including intentionally missing a shot at the wrong basket in an attempt to record a triple-double, which drew criticism from fans and fellow players.

Jenna Jameson

Jenna Jameson, whose real name is Jenna Marie Massoli, is a model, actress, businesswoman, and television personality from the United States. She was born in Las Vegas, but the treatments her mother received for cancer forced the family to move to Nevada, Arizona, and Montana. She spent her childhood either living with her paternal grandmother or in a trailer. Because of her grandparents’ impact, she and her more established sibling Tony were raised Catholic.

Jameson participated in ballet classes throughout her childhood and regularly competed in beauty pageants as a child. She tried to become a showgirl in Las Vegas like her mother did, but the majority of shows turned her down because she wasn’t the typical height of 5 feet 8 inches (173 cm) at the time. As a dancer, she went by the stage name “Jennasis,” which she later used as the name of her business, which she started as Jennasis Killing Co.

Ryback

Ryback (His real name is Ryan Allen Reeves) is a retired American professional wrestler who competed in WWE from 2010 to 2016. He is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada. Ryback started his career in WWE as a member of the group known as The Nexus in 2010. Top WWE stars such as John Cena, CM Punk and The Shield were his nemesis at some point. Ryback was known for his intense in-ring style, power moves, and catchphrase “Feed Me More.” After leaving WWE in 2016, Ryback continued to work as an independent wrestler and started his own nutrition supplement company. Vegas is where professional stock car racer Kyle Busch was born. Because of the way he drives, he is referred to as “Rowdy” and “Wild Thing,” “Shrub” because he is Kurt Busch’s younger brother and a small bush is called a shrub, and the self-titled “KFB.” He is also known as “The Candy Man” because of his long-term sponsorship with Mars, Incorporated. Busch worked in the family carport with his dad and more seasoned sibling Kurt as he developed, becoming group boss for his sibling’s bantam vehicle group at age ten. He started his career as a driver in 1998, and in just seven years, he became one of the world’s best stock-car drivers.
