Top 10 Desserts To Try At Camden Market

1. Amorino

Located just a short distance away from Camden Market itself, Amorino is easily spotted as you make your way up to the market from Camden Town tube station. Designed in a similar way to the elegant gelaterias of the Italian cities, Amorino is a spot popular with Londoners looking to get a delicious gelato fix, whatever the weather.

All their ice creams are handmade with natural ingredients, making sure that every scoop is of the highest quality. The flavours are traditional and sourced from all over the world – think Brazilian bananas, Ecuadorian chocolate, or Indian alphonso mango.

Of course, you could enjoy this incredible gelato in a traditional cup or cone, but what would be the fun in that? Amorino will happily pile a few scoops onto a waffle or a crepe, or pack them into a neat little box with some delicate macarons to go with it.

If you’re serious about your gelato art, why not try one of their gorgeous Amorino roses, with each petal a different flavour, carefully swirled into a waffle cone. It’ll make the most incredible picture, and you get to eat it afterwards!

When you think of hipsters in London, it’s likely that the gimmick of the cereal cafe is one of the first things that comes to mind. It has become a cult favourite for a reason – everyone has enjoyed cereal at some point, whether in the morning before school as a child, or at the office or even for dinner as an adult.

7. Chin Chin Labs

Camden Market is perhaps best known for its inventive, innovative food stalls, some of which you won’t find anywhere else. Arguably one of the most famous examples of this is Chin Chin Labs, an ice cream stall with a difference. There’s no Soleros or Magnum lollies here, as Chin Chin Labs serves up scoops of liquid nitrogen ice cream. Don’t worry, there’s no scary chemicals here.

The folks at Chin Chin simply believe that liquid nitrogen is the best way to create smooth, ultra chilled ice cream, that makes an awesome video as it’s scooped up with billowing clouds of swirling liquid nitrogen ‘smoke.’

Choose from an array of classic comforting flavours, including chocolate and vanilla, or pop by week in, week out for their rotating special flavour of the week. Enjoy your scoop on its own or with a range of unusual toppings, such as bee pollen or truffle crumble, or add it to their range of desserts and ice cream sandwiches.
