This Easter we hunt!
Paris celebrates Easter on Sunday the 12th of April. Easter in Paris is something pretty special. Satisfaction, fun, and delight are guaranteed!
If you’ve always wanted to have a very special egg hunt, just come to “the City of Light”. It’s one of the funniest things to do in Paris in April! Inside, outside, in a farm, in a zoo, in a castle, even in the monuments. The hunt of yummy chocolates begins! Just to give you an idea: at the Jardin du Palais Royal, there will be a gigantic hunting where plenty of colourful eggs will be dispersed and kids will have to search! But also at the Disney Village in Marne-la-Vallée where many eggs will be hidden all throughout the place!
Other activities such as make-up, gardening, painting, dancing will be available! Of course, the adults are welcome. One who spends easter in Paris is a kid again! And thanks to all those events… there is kind of a competition between the Parisians bakers. So in 2019, you will have the chance to determine which one of them will do the most beautiful and surprising egg?

The Paris International Marathon happens on Sunday the 5th of April, the first weekend of the month! The runners have 42.195 kilometers to cover through the city! The brave women and men start from the Arc of Triumph, heading towards the Place de la Concorde, and then head to the Bastille Square. This amazing journey ends near the Foch Avenue.
Each year, more and more foreign athletes join the course, so if you’re interested you may register on their website! Of course if you think you’re not ready yet for this kind of challenge, you can support it! This Marathon is one of the toughest and most challenging things to do in Paris in April. Inspired by the Holi Festival in India, everyone starts at Hôtel de Ville and has to reach Trocadéro, not only as fast as they can, but also as colored as possible! At each kilometer you cross, 100% colored powder, made out of corn, will be thrown at you (it’s edible)! So, what is the purpose? Get to the Color Run Festival in Trocadéro the most colorful you can be, and with a big smile on your face! It is definitely one of the things to do in Paris in April!
