In spite of everything, Macron is said to be the most loved First Lady in French history; boasting consistent, positive feedback from everyone she encounters and the people in general.

She retains a sunny disposition, is reported as always kind and well spoken, and maintains a high standard of personal moral at all times. In short, she’s everything society tends to love in a First Lady.

Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron were married in 2007, when he was 29 years old. At this point they would have known one another for over 13 years already.

Early Life of Brigitte Macron

Brigitte Trogneux was born in Amiens, France in 1953. Her family were chocolatiers.

Back in the day in France this was considered the profession of choice from which to derive your birth line. The sons and daughters of the pâtissiers were always the most popular on the playground.

Trogneux worked in the schoolteaching profession for most of her life and was, for the duration, married with children.

When Trogneux was 39 years old she took a teaching position at a small high school in her hometown on Amiens. It was a post teaching after-school drama to any children who were interested.

It was here that Trogneux has first contact with the boy would one day be her husband.

All of 15 years old, Emmanuel Macron enrolled in the after school program and Brigitte Trogneux was immediately taken by the student’s intellect and capabilities. His overwhelming intelligence is something she still talks about to this day.

The two grew closer and closer as time went on. When Emmanuels parents discovered what was going on they sent him off to finish school in Paris, in hopes that some distance would help the boy forget about this woman 24 years older than him.

All through the distance and separation, Emmanuel Macron maintained that he would one day marry the then Brigitte Trogneux.

Truer words have never been spoken, and the couple deserves as much respect as any other of-age married couple would.
