1. Stefan Edberg
Stefan Edberg is a retired professional tennis player who was formidable during his active years in the 1980s and 1990s.
He is a six-time winner of the Grand Slams singles, two titles each at the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open.
His playing style is said to have been more suited for grass-court rather than clay-court. This did not, however, hinder his chances at winning, he finished as a runner-up at the French Open in 1989 and missed a career by a whisker.
He is a 4-time Davis Cup winner on behalf of his country and was a 2-time winner of the ATP finals in 1985 and 1986.
He remains to be the only Swedish player to be on the number one position in both the singles and doubles categories.
His singles victories include the 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics where he won a bronze, which he also won under the double’s category. Stefan won 18 titles in the double’s category together with 3 Grand Slam tournaments.
He has his name in the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2004. He is one of two male tennis players to be named as the UPI athlete of the year in 1990. He was in the number 1 position for 72 weeks.

2. Bjorn Borg

He won most of his Grand slams and his winning streak is said to be among the highest winners and no chance of having this record broken in the near future.

Mats Wilander is among the four men who won a Grand Slam title on four different surfaces.
He won the Australian Open when it was played on a grass court but did not win the Wimbledon tournament.
He started playing tennis as a teenager he rose in his early career and won a total of 4 Grand Slam titles before his 20th birthday, he still holds this record.
Mats also won 8 Grand Prix super series the predecessor to the modern ATP Masters 1000 tournaments.
Before Stefan Edberg came into the scene, Mats held the world number 1 position, this win ushered him to the Davis Cup finals on seven different occasions in the 1980s.
His career ran for 15 years and he earned at least 8 million USD in prize money. He got inaugurated into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2002.
He shares his victories on grass, hard and clay courts with Rafael Nadal.
4. Lena Sofia Alexandra Arvidsson
Lena Arvidsson is a former Swedish tennis player who is now a padel professional. Tennis was Arvidsson’s first sport when he was eight years old.
She incorporated both the ITF Junior and ITF Women’s Circuit into her schedule in 1999, and she reached the semifinals of a $10k women’s event in Båstad that year.
Lena competed in her maiden Fed Cup matches and reached the Nasbypark championship game in 2000.
In 2003, Arvidsson, who started the year in WTA events primarily in qualifying, had a rating of 147.
She dropped down and competed in the $50,000 event in Ortisei, reaching the final where she lost to Mara Santangelo after failing to qualify for both Hobart and the Australian Open.
At the Kremlin Cup in 2013, she advanced past the qualifying rounds and advanced to the second round before losing to eighth seed Svetlana Kuznetsova.
She won 20 singles championships and 13 doubles titles on the ITF Circuit during her career in addition to one doubles title and two singles titles on the WTA Tour.
5. Mirjam Björklund
Miriam Björklund was born on 29th July 1998. She has a career-high WTA singles ranking of 123rd in the world, which she accomplished in 2022.
Mirjam won her WTA Challenger doubles title, nine singles titles and ITF Women’s her two doubles titles on her circuit.
In 2017, Björklund made her main draw debut for the WTA during the Swedish Open, where she faced Katerina Kozlova in the first round. This was the same year that Mirjam officially became a professional in 2017.
She has won eight ITF singles titles and two ITF doubles titles since then. She recently competed in the ITF USA 09A and advanced to the fourth round. She was defeated by Taylor Townsend, left-handed American tennis.
She qualified for her Grand Slam debut at the 2022 French Open, where she was paired with fellow qualifier Donna Vekic. At the 2022 Wimbledon Championships, she qualified for her second Grand Slam in a row.
