MegaZip is basically a zipline operated by Mega Adventure Park in the picturesque Sentosa Island in Singapore. The MegaZip spans 450 meters over the island’s jungles and beaches.
Clients at the MegaZip travel at an approximate speed of 60 kilometers per hour over the zip wires. In addition to MegaZip, Mega Adventure Park operates four other activities in Sentosa Island.
The other activities operated by the Park include a dynamic bungee assisted trampolines called the MegaBounce, a 25-meter free fall simulator called the MegaJump, a 36-obstacle treetop ropes course known as the MegaClimb and a rock-climbing activity called the MegaWall.

Latest pricing indicates that it costs a person $29 to ride on the zip lines. The zip lines can accommodate six harnessed riders on a scenic trip on the zip line.

7. Not Everyone Can Be Permitted on The MegaZip
The Management of Mega Adventure Park has provided guidelines to ensure the MegaZip is only used by the right customers and prevent accidents from happening.
The minimum height for clients using MegaZip has been set at 90 centimeters while the weight of clients must be between 30 kilograms at the minimum and 140 kilograms at the maximum.
Children whose weight is below 90 kilograms and have a height of above 90 centimeters must use the zip line in the company of another person.
8. Medical Conditions Are Considered Before Admitting Clients Into MegaZip
For safety reasons the medical condition of a client is reviewed before they are allowed on the zip lines. Participation on the zip lines is not permitted for clients who are pregnant or have a medical condition.
Clients who are under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medicine are not permitted on the zip lines.
In addition, all guests must be able to fit into the company’s safety harness provided by the company. Clients who are overweight may therefore find it difficult to access the zip lines.
9. The MegaZip is Easily Accessible on Foot or By Road

The Mega Adventure Park where the MegaZip is operated from is easily accessible on foot or by public transport means.
Clients can walk along Siloso Beach Road and the counter for the Mega Adventure Park will be on the left after an 800-meter walk.
Clients can also hop on the free beach tram which travel towards Siloso Beach to get to the MegaZip.
10. The Experience is Non-refundable and Cannot Be Changed
Pre-purchasing the MegaZip ticket can be a major hustle as at times clients are forced to line up and climb to the top to redeem them.
Most of the times clients have to queue to get to the top and also to redeem the receipts which can be tedious and frustrating at times.
The experience is nevertheless non-refundable and cannot be changed no matter the reason given.
The amount paid is not refundable even if clients request for amendments or decide to cancel the whole experience all together.
