Only 8 days and a handful of hours are left, and you are visiting the magnificent “eternal city”. If you don’t know what to do, where to buy some Christmas souvenirs and gifts for your friends and relatives then take note.

What do you think about spending time in an enormous elf factory? At the “Ragusa Off” exhibition space in the San Giovanni / Tuscolano district, you will find the biggest Christmas event in all of Rome.

With over 6000 square meters factory you will get lost between:

  1. 200 artisans with their exhibitions and stands:
  2. The home of Santa Claus;
  3. Ice skating rink;
  4. Food Corner;
  5. Music and shows.
The elf factory will remain open until 06 January 2020. The factory is located in Via R. Lanciani n. 30 just 250 meters from the Tuscolana Station. Take the Metro A from Termini Station and get off at the Ponte Lungo stop, after a short ten-minute walk you will be there!

The Magic City by Luiss Guido Carli

Until December 20, at the Campus Viale Romania 32 you will find “The Magic City“.

This Christmas market organized by Luiss Guido Carlo University awaits you with beautiful wooden houses and many handicrafts. Among the various handcrafted products, bijoux, books and typical culinary products you will find your perfect Christmas gift!

The proceeds of the market will support economically the education projects for 150 children in Senegal followed by the “Association INSIEME ONLUS for cohesion without borders”.

The entrance is free from Monday to Friday 10: 30-18: 30 but also Saturday and Sunday 10: 30-20:30.
From Termini Station take the 360 bus and get off at the Romania stop!

Christmas Market at the Spanish Steps

In the centre of Rome, right next to the Spanish Stairs, you will find a beautiful Christmas market. The market will be open every day until 06 January 2020 from 10 am to 7 pm. Here you will find many gift ideas and Roman gastronomic specialities typical of the Christmas period. Don’t miss the beautiful Nativity scene prepared near the staircase.

From the Termini Station take the Metro A underground and get off at the Spagna stop.

The Epiphany Market in Piazza Navona

The historical market of Rome is held every year at Piazza Navona, around the Fountain of the Four Rivers by Bernini. It is known as the “epiphany market” and lasts until 06 January 2020. Here you can revive the Roman traditions by tasting the typical local desserts and admiring the street artists. In addition, you will find spaces provided for children. You can even try the ancient carousel!

To get to Piazza Navona take the Metro A and get off at Repubblica. Once you arrive, take bus n.70 to Clodio. Get off at the “Rinascimento” stop and take a short walk!

Talenti Christmas Market

In Piazza Giuseppe Primoli you will find the Talenti Christmas Market. This fairy-tale Christmas village is suitable for the whole family. Here you will find many artisans stands with many gift ideas, food and wine specialities and also a food area located outside. The village is open from 10 am until 8 pm.

To reach it from Termini take bus no. 66 and get off at the Ojetti / Primoli stop.

Stand by the river – Christmas Market on the Tiber

Only and exclusively for December 23rd, the Christmas market will take place on the banks of the Tiber River. Here you will find many stands of artists and artisans, street food and many gift ideas!

Take the 170 bus from Termini Station and get off at the Agricoltura stop.

In Via Del Commercio n. 36 you will find a very unusual Christmas market.

Only for one day on December 22nd, there will be a market full of music and design. Streetwear and sneakers will be the main theme of this Christmas Market. You will find a lot of resellers, vintage and emerging brands waiting just for you, all day long.

From Termini Station get the Metro B underground and stop at Pyramid. With a six minutes’ walk, you’ll be there! The market will be open from 10:30 to 19:30.

 Christmas Village in the Solara Garden Center

The XVII edition of the Christmas Village will be held in the Casal Palocco district, in the Solara Garden Center.

Here you can go shopping inside this beautiful garden center among lights and decorations, different nativity scenes and Santa’s animated village.

This Christmas market will last until 06 January 2020. The village will be open Monday to Saturday 8.30 – 19.30 and Sunday 9 – 19.
From Termini take the Metro B direction Laurentina and get off at the Eur / Fermi stop. Once off the metro, take bus no. 709 and get off at the Casal Palocco / Terrazze stop.

Christmas Market 2019 – Conca d’Oro

This amateur market will open its doors on December 21 to close the next day.

Here you will find many stands with traditional and artisan products, many gift ideas for everyone.

The event will be held from 09 am until 10 pm.
Take Metro B and get off at the Jonio stop.  After a short walk of seven minutes, you will arrive at your destination.

In Via dei Banchi Vecchi n. 42 every year the usual Christmas charity market is held. This market is promoted by the Mario Moderni Foundation with the aim of bringing so much solidarity for people. Here you will find recycled gift ideas created using modern materials.

The market will be open until 05 January 2020.
From Termini Station take bus n. 64 towards P.zza St.ne San Pietro and get off at the Chiesa Nuova stop. With a short walk of five minutes, you will arrive at the Gallery.
