Top Wedding Venues in Paris
Since we can’t all make like Kim and Kanye & get married at the Palace of Versailles, we’ll have to find some alternatives around Paris instead.
Being the trés romantique city that it is, a shorter list would probably be ‘where isn’t a wedding venue in Paris’. One can quite literally walk into any of the parks and even cemeteries & they are easily more beautiful than specialized wedding venues in other parts of the world.
A popular venue option in Paris are the hotels. Most of the luxury ones offer grand salons and banquet halls that make the perfect space in which to hold such an event. But hotels aren’t everyone’s cup of tea; here are a few more top wedding venues in and around the city.
Pavillon Royal in Paris
Wedding’s in Paris tend to favor pavilions that overlook parks. If you take a free guided walking tour through the Eiffel Tower district, you can sometimes spot brides and grooms who have flocked to the Torcadero pavilion, overlooking the Champ de Mars and tower, for their wedding photo shoot.
The Pavillon Royal is situated inside of the Bois de Boulogne in the far west of Paris. This is the biggest public green space in the city, and the venue is built right on the main lake.
What’s great about the Pavillon Royal is that one can host both their wedding ceremony and reception from the same grounds. No need to move between churches and venues throughout the day.
The establishment will take care of your every wish, ensuring that everything you’d like scheduled outside will take place outside, and everything inside remains inside. Your one stop shop for a dreamy, nature centered Parisian wedding.

Pavillons de Bercy in Paris
This is the fairytale wedding you didn’t know you needed. The Pavillons de Bercy is actually the location of the Musée des Arts Forains in Bercy Village. It’s a museum housing masses of old fun fair rides and machinery from Paris throughout history.
They have three grand scale museum rooms on offer in which wedding’s can be held. Each has the capacity to hold almost 900 individuals for a sit down banquet.
The vicinity also has a majestic outdoor garden pavilion that resembles some enchanted Italian/Parisian garden. It can be joined with one of the indoor spaces so that the entire wedding isn’t necessary outside.
You might be inclined to wince at the mention of the word “fun fair”, due to the automatic connotations of it being childish, run down or kitsch. I assure you that the Musée des Arts Forains is anything but. It is a well kept and enchanting space through and through; if you don’t believe me you can visit any day of the week.

Yachts de Paris in Paris
Getting married on the Seine River as you and your guests float past all of the most notable landmarks in the city has become the latest trend in Parisian weddings .
There are many Seine boat companies offering their vessels to couples for private hire. None, however, do weddings quite like the Yachts de Paris.
The company has 8 vessels all suitable and available for wedding hire. You’ll have the option of 800 guests for cocktail dining, or 400 guests for sit down dining.
The couple in question will decide on times for the boat to embark, the journey on the Seine and what landmarks to pass by, the menu for dinner, the entertainment for the evening, and exactly how they would like the venue decorated for the event.
All weddings are catered by top quality private chefs. This is important to mention if you’ve ever attended a Seine boat tour for dinner before, no doubt the food here was less than mind blowing.

France-Amériques in Paris
The France-Amériques is a venue that gets you as close to what the Palace of Versailles would feel like as possible. It is the peak of sophistication and opulence, right in the city center between the Champs-Élysées and the Seine.
The building has a number of rooms to choose from in which your wedding reception can take place. You could dine in one, and dance in another; or have everything in one room if you so desire.
What’s great about the France-Amériques is that the interior itself is decoration enough. There is something to ogle at across every inch of the elegant space.
Book this venue well in advance, there is a long, long waiting list for weddings in Paris.

Paradis Latin in Paris
Make your Parisian wedding as “Parisian” as they come by tying the knot inside of a historic cabaret theatre.
The Paradis Latin is a grand space in Paris’ 5th, near the Notre Dame and Pantheon buildings. It has the capacity to seat 700 guests for sit down dinner, with added room for entertainment areas, performances and a dance floor.
The venue is only too happy to cater to private bookings, and a few celebrities have been known to have used this space for their big day.
Their wedding packages have the added option of including some live cabaret performances in the evenings program. This isn’t something that is usually easy to incorporate into a wedding, so your day is guaranteed to be as unique and as Parisian as possible.
