Best Restaurants near Les Invalides in Paris

Perhaps one of the city’s more glamorous monuments, Les Invalides is situated in the heart of Paris’ Left Bank. Les Invalides is famous for being Napoleon’s final resting place, and of course for the magnificent gold dome roof in true Napoleon style. This is also home to the Army Museum and an expansive grassy knoll leading up to the Alexandre III bridge. Les Invalides is also just a quick hop from the Eiffel Tower, the Rodin Museum, and the Musée d’Orsay, so this area is one of the most visited in Paris.

Often the toughest task in these more touristic areas is finding a good place to eat! But no worries, that’s why I created this local guide to the best restaurants near Les Invalides in Paris to help you out.

Just a quick walk from Les Invalides, La Medita is a cozy restaurant where you can settle in for a good and filling meal. The menu here is fairly simple and includes classic Lebanese starters and mains like hommous, moutabel, and an excellent homemade sandwich. La Medita also offers delivery services in Paris.

4. Le Crépuscule

A crêpe is one of the foods you should absolutely try on your visit to Paris. And luckily, one of the best crêperies in Paris is located just a quick walk from Les Invalides. Crêpes usually have sweet fillings like jam, Nutella, or simply sugar. Galettes on the other hand are made with sarrasin flour and have savory fillings. Luckily, le Crépuscule has both.  The most popular savory option is ham, cheese, and egg, but there are plenty of combos to try here.

Plus, if you’re ready to keep exploring you can take your crêpe to go and enjoy it in the Invalides garden or even on the Champ de Mars in front of the Eiffel Tower.

If you’re looking for a fine dining experience near Les Invalides in Paris, Auguste is highly recommended. Run by Chef Gaël Orieux who worked alongside Yannick Alleno, this one Michelin-Star restaurant offers up some incredibly creative and delicious haute French cuisine. And at prices that won’t break the bank. Their three-course menu costs €39 and includes an entrée, a main, and a dessert. But if you have a little more to spend (and a little more time) their surprise 5 course tasting menu is definitely worth it at €90.

The interior is cozy but remains chic and contemporary, the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Plus, the restaurant is located just a 3 minute walk from the Musée Rodin, and just a quick hop to Les Invalides or Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
